About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Operation Quality Engineer to join the Lghting Quality  team, reporting directly to the Operation and Customer Quality Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Foshan.
 

As the Operation Quality Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for as below

  • Problem solving for internal & external quality issue.
  • Make sure specific production is consistency of process.
  • As the dedicated person in specific production line area to drive all related person with the correct quality mindset with correct behavior

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Focus on process quality, 0KM returns, incoming inspection or warranty incident.
  • Participate in process audit, internal audit and customer audit.
  • Process quality control and monitor, master products quality tend.
  • Implement Kaizen and PDCA activity.
  • Participate QRQC meeting, define action plan for high scrap items and follow up them.
  • Management of QMO function area, assign task to engineers, inspectors leaders.
  • Participate in new project trial.
  • Define quality documents for parts localization.
  • Lead team to analysis returns, define action plan to reduce 0KM.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the superior leader.

What Qualifications you will bring:

EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): College above in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent

LANGUAGES: English can workable

EXPERIENCES:

  • 5 years’ experience in automotive industry, preferably from the field of quality management.
  • 1 year work experience on customer quality
  • 1 year work experience on warranty including incident complaint and claim.
  • 1 year work experience on incoming inspection and supplier control.
  • Specialist technical knowledge / qualifications are mandatory in the following topics:

  - Evaluation of process capability analyses and general statistical evaluation methods

  - FMEA applications, pre-production procedures

  - Problem solving methods

  - TQM systems

  • Quality Core tools knowledge, which includes APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan.

CAPABILITIES (Marelli Behaviors and Technical Skills) / CULTURAL FIT: Have the leadership to lead an inspector team. Have strong communication skill.
