About the Position:
We are looking for a【Smart Surface Structural Engineer】who will join【Interiors Advance Engineering】team to conduct Smart Surface development and innovation, reporting directly to【Advance Engineering Manager】. This position is based at our office in【Guangzhou】.
Your Responsibilities will be:
1. Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments for the preliminary development of smart surface products, verifying the performance and processes (wrapping, bonding, INS, IME, etc.) of automotive interior smart surface materials (translucent leather, films, etc.).
2. Work with hardware, software, and optical engineers to design, develop, and validate smart surface products, and establish technical specification standards.
3. Coordinate with OEMs on pre-research projects and actual vehicle projects related to smart surfaces.
4. Assist with other tasks as needed.
What Qualifications you will bring:
1. Familiar with the design and development process of various automotive interior products (IP, CONSOLE, DOOR, etc.), including system layout requirements, product performance requirements, design standards, material selection requirements, and production processes.
2. Experienced in the development and validation of new interior materials (e.g., translucent leather, films) in terms of performance and processes (e.g., wrapping, bonding, INS, IME, etc.).
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience, with responsibility for the design and development of interior products for at least two vehicle models.
4. Proficient in using drafting software such as CATIA or NX.
5. Proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility, learning ability, teamwork, and communication skills.
6. Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Materials, or related fields, with a solid professional knowledge base.
7. CET-4 or above in English, with preference given to candidates who can use English as a working language.
