About the Position:

 

We are looking for a [Optical Display Engineer]  to join the [Optical] team, reporting directly to the [Optical Manager].
 

This position is based at our office in [Guangzhou].
 

As the [Optical Display Engineer] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

    • Participate in project quotations for display products for OEM.
    • Develop technical solutions based on customer requirements and deliver solution presentation reports and BOMs.
    • Address inquiries and resolve display-related issues for OEM.
    • Present and discuss technical solutions with OEM.
    • Responsible for project development, guiding suppliers to complete product development according to Marelli standards.
    • Collaborate with the quality, purchasing, and project departments to complete supplier development and management-related tasks.
    • Organize design reviews, including those within Marelli, with suppliers, and with customers.
    • Maintain a repository of lessons learned, common standards, and failure analysis models.
    • Learn new display technologies.
    • Complete the tasks assigned by leader and report the workload and achievements.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Strong English communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a display technical position.
  • Familiar with the electrical and optical characteristics of display products (TFT/OLED).
  • Knowledgeable about the structure, component characteristics, and process features of display products, with an awareness of cost considerations.
  • Understanding of TLCM/CG/TP/Bonding/OLED processes and technologies.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, with strong learning ability and self-motivation.
  • Previous experience as an FAE/TPL in the display industry or in R&D at an TIER1 is preferred.
