About the Position:
We are looking for a EMS Base Calibration to join the Product Development team at Propulsion, reporting directly to the Product Development Leader.
This position is based at our client location in Pune.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for complete EMS software calibration and validation.
- Responsible for calibration data management, calibration integration & release to customer.
- CAN database verification / mapping during project development phase.
- Environmental trials support for customer to meet the vehicle performance targets through EMS calibration optimization in varying environmental condition.
- Adopt calibration methodologies, procedures and tools shared by Marelli.
- Promote effective solutions together with Marelli HQ Application and Functions Design Teams
- Guarantee the compliance of calibration process workflow with the standards defined by Marelli.
- Customer Interaction on daily / weekly basis to understand vehicle / bench validation status and SW bugs.
- Customer reported defects needs to be validated and JIRA ticket to be created for internal / external tracking purpose.
- Customer interface for problem solving in industrialization, necessary support to internal and external customers.
- To work on the new technology like BS-6 / Hybrids / AMT / DCT.
- Travel to customer location to support development activities.
- Promote the use of statistical analysis and big data management, in cooperation with Marelli HQ, to validate strategies performance and diagnosis robustness.
- Take part to calibration design review - risk analyses with Marelli HQ Team or with the Customers.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, with a preference for an M.Tech in Automotive Engineering.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Engine control system
- Knowledge of System Calibration
- Air charge calibration
- Fuel charge calibration with nominal and off nominal samples
- Ignition calibration with nominal and off nomnal samples with combustion behaviour analysis
- Management and calibration of VVT, EGR, throttle body, turbo,etc
- ETAS INCA
