About the Position:
We are looking for experienced System validation Engineer, at Propulsion Team, will report to System Integrationa & Validation Manager.
This position is located at Rohtak/ Manesar.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for end-to-end system validation and testing of EMS and AMT software and vehicle functions.
- Define and execute test plans for drivability, performance, emissions, diagnostics, fuel economy, and functional safety validation.
- Perform software, calibration, CAN database, and diagnostics verification during project development phases.
- Support vehicle-level validation across different environmental and operating conditions to ensure performance targets are met.
- Analyze validation results, identify defects, create JIRA tickets, and track issues through closure.
- Validate customer-reported issues and support root-cause analysis with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure testing and validation activities comply with Marelli standards, methodologies, and quality processes
- Collaborate with HQ application, calibration, and function design teams to review risks and improve system robustness.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostics validation, EOBD testing, DTC verification, and functional safety validation.
- Support customer interaction, problem resolution, industrialization activities, and on-site development testing
- Apply statistical analysis and data-driven methods to improve validation coverage and system reliability
- Submit Validation report and create Methodlogies for System validation
What Qualifications you will bring:
Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, with a preference for an M.Tech in Automotive Engineering.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Engine control system or Transmission Control System
- Knowledge of System Validation
- System and vehicle-level validation
- Software testing and release validation
- Diagnostics, EOBD, and DTC validation
- Root-cause analysis and validation reporting
- INCA, JIRA
