About the Position:
We are looking for an Indirect Material Purchasing Specialist to join the Purchasing ELS team, reporting directly to the Head Purchase.
This position is based at our office in Manesar.
Your Responsibilities will be:
• Manage the sourcing process and negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers for new or refurbishment of Capex Equipment, ensuring the achievement of objectives for the Function in accordance with the Company targets.
• Experience to manage software licensing and global tier-1 supplier Panel.
• Supplier nomination (Purchase Order issue, agreement definition, emission, and signature of Nomination Letter)
• Procurement of all types of Indirect purchase item, CAPEX material spare parts and services.
• Tracking the SAP Purchase requisition for entity on daily basis & converting them into SAP PO as per Marelli global purchase procedure
• Vendor Empanelment; Managing Vendor documentation process in SAP and Genesis. Closing any Legal queries of vendor in documentation process with Legal team.
• Closing any Legal queries of vendor in documentation process with Legal team
• Preparing (Statuary documentation) GST/VAT+ MSME’s master data and updating every quarter.
Creation of the RFQ, conducting negotiation’s round and approval of Nomination on Marelli E-procurement portal basis on threshold amount.
• Sending Manual RFQ + E-RFQ in GENESIS portal i.e. request for quotation, closing effective rounds of negotiation and Purchase order creation.
• Analyzing quotation and bids etc. by preparing a cost comparison sheet for each negotiation.
• Preparing E-RS (Electronics recommendation sheet) & Communication with central/regional commodity team for global price confirmation and approvals.
• Keep a check on Purchase Order approval process from all levels.
• Sending the purchase order to respective vendor post purchase order approval process.
Regular follow up with vendors to expedite the delivery of the material and services
• Ensuring completion of services like civil work etc. against the scope of work (SOW) agreed with the vendor
• Launching RFQs (Request for quotation) to various suppliers for CAPEX parts of new projects & coordinate with user department for the feedback against scope of work.
• Generating Monthly saving reports for both locations for KPI’s & MIS Monitoring
• Creation of the E-catalogue in Genesis of the regular indirect products for hassle free procurement
• Support the involvement of suppliers to perform feasibility studies and participate in review of supplier technical proposal during technical review with Manufacturing Engineer / R&D / Quality
• Ensuring smooth running of services like Guest house services, medical services, DG rental services
• Checking and comparing all invoice details with our master records before forwarding to user team for processing
• Monthly price agreement with Logistic service provider for various location of Marelli’s suppliers and maintain pricing trend and report In MIS on monthly basis.
• Support finance and logistics staff in resolving receipt of material and invoice discrepancies
What Qualifications you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree (ELS / Mechanical) or above in Industrial sectors with technical skills.
Knowledge of Automotive & Industrial components. Relevant Exp - 5 to 7 years.
Other skills that we would welcome:
Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office suites
Commercial and Technical Negotiation Skills ( Analytical Skills)
Optimize costs, while ensuring quality and timing impacts
Ensure the deployment of Capex & Opex commodity strategy
Anticipating the specific requirements for new services (supplier solutions, geographical location, and target costs)
compliance with internal rules, Purchasing procedures and guidelines
Fluent English
Good Knowledge of Automotive & industrial components
