About the Position:
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Finance Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Finance Head.
This position is based at our office in Manesar.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Prepare Short Term & Long Term Business Plans and present to Senior Management to drive strategic alignment.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets, proactively identifying gaps and leading cross-functional reviews to drive corrective actions.
- Conduct rigorous financial evaluations of new business opportunities to provide data-driven insights for management decision-making.
- Plant & Industrial Controlling - Oversee industrial controlling parameters, including material cost reduction, scrap management, cycle time optimization, and labor cost efficiency.
- Monitor and control variable and fixed expenses to ensure lean manufacturing operations.
- Manage inventory levels and valuation to optimize working capital and minimize obsolescence.
- Financial Operations & Treasury - Direct operational cash flow and cash equivalents to meet corporate liquidity targets.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Treasury functions to ensure timely collections and optimized payment cycles.
- Accounting, Compliance & Audit - Manage the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), including classification, depreciation, physical verification, and tagging protocols
- Supervise GL and Subsidiary Ledger activities to maintain the highest standards of accounting quality and documentation.
- Act as the primary lead for Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, Cost Audits, and ICFR (Internal Financial Controls) compliance.
- Partner with the commercial team to perform detailed sales price analysis and settlement reviews.
- Leadership & Systems Improvement - Drive continuous system and ERP enhancements to meet evolving reporting requirements and improve data accuracy.
- Lead and mentor finance team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all financial operations and strategic tasks.
What Qualifications you will bring:
Chartered Accountant / CMA
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Excellent understanding of Accountancy, Finance, Controlling and Taxation
- Knowledge of ERP- SAP./Reporting packages like Hyperion.
