About the Position:

 

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the Manufacturing Engineering Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager. 

This position is based at our office in Manesar.
 

 

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  •  Basic Know how : Software development programming using ladder/ STL language with Siemens PLC/Hardware
  • Programming & Integration of PLC with SPM hardware (Camera/Scanner/Screwdriver/Load cell, LVDT etc..) over Profinet,Profibus,Modbus
  • Design and Troubleshooting  of Special purpose machine Electrical, Pneumatic circuit & Hydraulic circuit.
  • SCADA/HMI designing and Report generation as per management requirement
  • Troubleshooting/analysis of MySQL programming with Database.
  • SPM (Special Purpose Machine ) Automation for OEE improvement, CT reduction, increase quality & Poka-yoke
  • Troubleshooting of Robot problems & teaching of robots w.r.t jigs/fixture
  • Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications and related information
  • Designing production processes & technical specification that maximize efficiency and reduce waste
  • Traceability ,Database Management and its Troubleshooting
  • Troubleshooting of Testing equipements enabled with software utilities
  • Upgrade systems and processes with new technology
  • Expert in creating detailed 2D/3D mechanical components, assemblies, and layout drawings using [2D & & 3D CAD Softwares].
  • Proficient in applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Machine Design Understanding
  • Generate comprehensive BOMs (Bill of Materials), material specifications, and engineering change notices (ECN).
  • Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Analyze designs to reduce manufacturing complexity and cost without compromising functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on the design, validation, and testing of custom manufacturing equipment before final delivery.
  • Perform onsite supplier audits, witness factory acceptance tests (FAT), and verify compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with suppliers to troubleshoot machine performance issues, drive continuous improvements, and minimize downtime
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers to develop custom fixtures, jigs, and automated systems for the assembly line.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Manage the procurement, manufacturing, and installation of new production line machinery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.

What Qualifications you will bring:

B.tech (Intrumentation & Electronics)

Experience: 8-9 years

 

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Siemens PLC/HMI/Drives programming
  • Understaning of Electrical/Pneuamtic/Mechnaical drawing/CAD
  • Good knowledge of Screwing, plugging  & assembly process
  • Developing effective automated and non-automated systems,Evaluating manufacturing processes, Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design
  • Analytical/ Conceptual & Teamwork Skill
