About the Position:
We are looking for a Metrology Lab Specialist to join the Quality Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Plant Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Manesar.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Extensive experience in metrology, dimensional measurement, and laboratory management
- Ensures the accuracy, calibration, and maintenance of precision measuring instruments and tools
- Operate and maintain metrology instruments (e.g., CMM, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, roughness testers, UTM, SEM).
- Able to make part specific programs on CMM . Programming of CMM machine
- Conduct dimensional inspections of parts, assemblies,samples ,Line fixtures according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Support new product launches, first article inspections, capability studies, and root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Ensure all measurement and calibration activities are performed in accordance with Marelli, customer, and international standards.
- Accurately record measurement data and inspection results.
- Apply MSA techniques and carry out R&R analyses on measuring and monitoring systems in production
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, calibration requirements, and statistical analysis.

- Oversee the inspection of incoming materials, components, and supplier parts using appropriate methods and tools (visual, dimensional, functional).
- Review and approve inspection records, documentation, and reports.
- Ensure timely identification and segregation of nonconforming materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to resolve quality issues [C2, C3].
- Initiate supplier corrective actions and follow up on defect resolutions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, material traceability, and quality issues.
- Interface with production, engineering, and logistics teams to address quality concerns and support manufacturing flow.
- Participate in internal audits and respond to audit findings related to incoming inspection.
- Accurately record inspection results & SAP records
