About the Position:
We are looking for an Engineer to join the Production Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Production Manager.
This position is based at our office in Manesar, India.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities to work force.
- Check production output according to specifications and production plan.
- Prepration of daily production reports.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
- Create and oversee an employee training schedule that emphasizes productivity and resource conservation.
- Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job.
- Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly .
- To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff
- Production targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
- To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and Safety policy.
What Qualifications you will bring:
B.E Electronics or Mechanical
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Machining background Turning / VMC
- Metrology Equipments
- Problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand
- To work closely with other Shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools.
- To ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift.
- To have an active role in the companies continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.
- Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
- Knowledge of Aspect /Impact ,HIRA ,waste segregation and dispose ,EHS & EnMS Policy
