About the Position:

 

We are looking for an Engineer to join the Production Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Production Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Manesar, India.
 

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Work cycle and flow charts knowledge required time and operation
  • Evaluate the daily setting in terms of surplus or lack of manpower
  • Ability of running preventive and consumptive analysis of (cycle) lead time
  • Calculate the needs of manpower, taking into account the planned volume
  • Evaluate the product time per process/version/model
  • Evaluate the actual performance (efficiency index, losses, indirect)
  • Definition of planned shifts number, duration of the shift, good hours, total production hours and number of necessary workers (direct and indirect), based on the required daily production
  • Process workflow development and work stations layout knowledge
  • Procedures and steps knowledge in order to perform the line balancing and implementation of the work load
  • Manpower classification knowledge in terms of direct and indirect workers and its specific under classification
  • Provide identification of good performance areas and low efficiency processes
  • Perform direct evaluations with chronometric tools
  • Ability to calculate the increase of lead time due to the fatigue allowance
  • Ability to identify and perform the potentially combined operation in terms of lead time (cycle)
  • Standard time composition knowledge & Knowledge of the time management: machine working and not working activity phase, machine time, active time, passive time
  • Ensure the behaviour of  the product in all the stages of life in accordance to all applicable guidelines i.e RoHS , EnMS ,EMS ,OH&S etc.

What Qualifications you will bring:

B.E Electronics  or Mechanical

  • Man, Motion Study (MOST)
  • Good team spirit and to be a good mentor for his team member
  • SWCC, Operations Process Chart, Standard time Calculation, Project facilitation
