About the Position:

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer responsible for Value Analysis and Value Engineering initiatives across electronic products. The role involves identifying cost-reduction opportunities through alternate component selection, hardware design review, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring product quality, reliability and compliance.

Resource who has skill to find alternate components, read Data Sheet, create feasibility report, reduce over engineered design & coordinate activities among plant & TRD.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Review electronic hardware designs to identify cost optimization opportunities without compromising performance or quality.
  • Identify, create feasibility report & evaluate alternate low-cost electronic components in coordination with design, sourcing, quality, and manufacturing teams.
  • Analyze BOM cost and propose VA/VE ideas such as eliminating over-engineered components, optimizing specifications, and improving design efficiency.
    Support component benchmarking, lifecycle review, availability analysis, and supplier technical evaluation.
  • Work with CFT teams including R&D, Purchase, Quality, Production, Testing, and Suppliers to implement approved cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis, technical justification, validation plans and implementation reports.
  • Ensure changes follow ECN/ECR, PPAP, validation, and quality approval processes.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–8 years of experience in electronics hardware, component engineering
  • Knowledge of electronic components, PCBAs, BOM analysis, SMT process, ICT, and production testing.
  • Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and component specifications.
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
