About the Position:
We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join the team.
This position is based at our office in Hortolândia.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Manages commercial negotiations, selection and development of local and international suppliers, as well as follow-up and release of purchase orders;
- Conducts price analysis, negotiates payment terms and delivery deadlines, and promotes cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Supports the process of developing new suppliers by conducting technical, financial, and risk assessments, as well as visits and audits;
- Maintains regular contact with the supplier market, monitors trends and risks in the supply chain, and proposes cost improvements and mitigation of increases;
- Utilizes analytical tools and advanced Excel to support decision-making and generate reports.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Experience in the Purchasing area, preferably in the automotive sector;
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, or related fields;
- Fluent English; Spanish desirable;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Knowledge of relevant standards and certifications (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001, ISO IEC 17025).
