About the Position:
We are looking for a Buyer Specialist to join the Purchasing Team.
This position is based at our office in Hortolândia - SP
Your Responsibilities will be:
Negotiation: Ability to negotiate prices, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers, ensuring the best conditions for the company.
Market Analysis: Skill in researching, analyzing, and identifying market trends, opportunities for new suppliers, and alternative materials.
Supplier Management: Experience in developing, monitoring performance, and continuously evaluating strategic suppliers.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of production processes, technical specifications of materials, and quality requirements.
Contract Management: Ability to draft, review, and manage purchasing contracts for direct materials, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
ERP System Knowledge: Experience with integrated management systems (preferably SAP or similar).
What Qualifications you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools
Intermediate/Advanced Spanish and English: Desired for communication with international suppliers and global activities
Other skills that we would welcome:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as Engineering, Quality, and Logistics
Proactive attitude towards achieving cost reduction targets, process improvements, and innovation in the supply chain
ERP System Knowledge: Experience with integrated management systems (preferably SAP or similar)
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple demands, meet deadlines, and maintain efficient and well-documented processes
