About the Position:
We are looking for a Display Product Manager to join the Strataegy and Product Management Electtronics team.
This position is based at our office in Munich.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Product Strategy Development
- Own global product line strategy for Marelli’s cluster, IVI, and innovative displays defining where to play and how to win, office located in Europe and serving global display business in other region and report directly to the global display product management group leader.
- Work with sales and engineering teams to research and identify new, global opportunities for Marelli’s displays to complement or enhance current offerings.
- Complete market size and customer segmentation analyses across the display portfolio.
- Develop product line business cases that quantifies product strategy around growth potential and required investments; identify synergies within and across the ELS product lines; and conduct sensitivity analyses around NPV, IRR, and pay-back period.
Product Roadmaps
- Develop product hardware and software roadmaps for Marelli’s current displays and potential future offerings.
- Conduct scouting for new technologies and innovations to incorporate into the product roadmap.
Internal and Customer Engagement
- Develop and support executive level product line strategies presentations.
- Develop product presentations for and support customer meetings.
- Train sales team on displays features and value proposition.
- Work with sales, purchasing, and engineering to develop RFI/RFQ technical responses.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders for the display automotive ecosystem within and outside of Marelli.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
- Master’s degree in engineering and/or MBA preferred.
- English fluent, fluent in Chinese/French/German, and/or Italian/Japanese also preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant display experience.
- Previous experience working with displays. Automotive display experience preferred.
- Experience in product strategy creation and execution.
- Ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with OEM engineering decision makers.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product management to develop and execute new business acquisition strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make technical presentations to all levels within Marelli and OEM organizations (peers, management, and executives).
- Openminded and creative approach in topics management.
- Attitude to propose new and innovative strategies.
- Attitude to think out of the box in complex global contest.
