About the Position:
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the AL&S team, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager.
This position is based at our office in Juarez Plant 1.
As the Logictics Coordinatorat Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company. You will coordinate efficient and cost-effective movement of goods throughout the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Order Management:
- Process and coordinate customer orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Inventory Control:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Transportation Coordination:
- Arrange appropriate transport for shipments and negotiate with carriers to secure the best rates.
- Track shipments and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Vendor and Supplier Relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms to improve service and reduce costs.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments such as procurement, production, and sales to align logistics operations with business goals.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to logistics activities.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with legal regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize logistics software to monitor inventory and shipment trends.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and present findings to management.
- Problem-Solving:
- Anticipate and resolve issues related to transportation, inventory, and supply chain operations.
- Implement solutions to optimize logistics processes and enhance service quality.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluid English
- Experience:
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Familiarity with logistics management software and tools.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Certifications:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar are a plus.
