About the Position:

 

We are looking for a MFE Engineer  to join the Lighting-MFE team, reporting directly to the MFE Manager.

 

This position is based at our office in Juarez,Chihuahua,Mexico.
 

As the MFE Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Design, implement, and optimize automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Program, integrate, and maintain PLC, HMI, and industrial robotic systems.
  • Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities through automation.
  • Lead automation projects from concept, design, installation, and commissioning stages.
  • Provide training and support to operators and technicians on automated systems.
  • Document technical procedures, update manuals, and ensure proper record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all automation activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve manufacturing goals.
  • Troubleshoot issues in automation systems and recommend effective solutions.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in industrial automation and process control.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI operation, SCADA systems, and industrial robotics.
  • Proven ability to analyze processes and implement automated solutions.
  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards relevant to manufacturing.
  • Experience with technical design tools and CAD software.
  • Effective teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Continuous learner with adaptability to new technologies.
  • (Desirable) Industry certifications in automation or technical proficiency in English.
