About the Position:
We are looking for a MPF Engineer to join the Manufacturing / Automotive Lighting team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Juarez, MX. Plant 1.
As the MPF Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production processes to ensure timely delivery, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with business objectives.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with departments to align production capacity with demand forecasts.

Resource Management:
- Optimize the use of materials, labor, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to ensure material availability.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline production processes and improve workflows.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Performance Monitoring:
- Track production metrics, such as throughput, quality, and efficiency.
- Analyze deviations from the plan and develop corrective actions.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure production processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address any quality issues.

Communication and Collaboration:
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and sales teams to align on goals and updates.
- Serve as the point of contact for production schedules and status.

Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve production-related problems promptly.
- Investigate root causes and implement solutions to prevent recurrences.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and changes.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance to management.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, operations management, or a related field.
- Experience in production planning, control, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ERP and production management software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
