About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Purchasing Specialist to join the Pursaching AL&S team, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager.
This position is based at our office in Juarez, Mexico, Plant 1.
As the Plant Purchasing Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with local and international suppliers
- Analyze cost structures and identify savings opportunities (cost reduction & avoidance)
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to align supply needs
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in plastics, chemicals, or manufacturing
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Fluent English (required for global supplier communication)
- Strong understanding of plastic resins and processing

The expectation for the Plant Purchasing Specialist position is to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for the plant, maintain strong supplier communication, support production needs, ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, manage purchasing information in SAP/ERP systems, and contribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
