About the Position:
We are looking for a Assembly Equipment Engineer Dedicated to join the Manufacturing Engineering team in Electronics Business, reporting directly to the Assembly Equipment Department Leader.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec.
As the Assembly Equipment Engineer Dedicated Marelli, you will design and optimize assembly equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality production. You will also support equipment functionality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Developing and optimizing specifications for assembly equipment.
- Ensuring equipment meets production, quality, and safety standards.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Preparing technical documentation and reports.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support new product launches.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in assembly equipment design, maintenance, or optimization within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Proficiency with CAD software and equipment design tools
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with automation and robotics integration
- Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot technical issues
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities effectively
Expectations from you in this position:
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and support troubleshooting activities on the shop floor.
- Document process changes and ensure all technical updates are properly recorded.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve equipment-related challenges.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for assembly efficiency and quality.
- Participate in daily meetings to address operational issues and coordinate with other departments.
