About the Position:
We are looking for a Customer Service Logistic Specialist to join the Logistics dpt. in Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Planning and Customer Service Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Customer Service Logistic Specialist, you will manage customer orders and ensure seamless delivery by monitoring EDI systems, overseeing transport arrangements, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Monitor and manage customer orders through EDI systems and SAP to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Coordinate transport bookings, delivery notes, and resolve any logistics issues in collaboration with internal departments.
- Maintain active communication with customers regarding order status, claims, and logistic requirements via portals and direct outreach.
- Analyze demand variations, optimize production plans, and help minimize transport costs through data-driven insights.
- Support and implement Marelli Manufacturing System (MMS) principles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- A degree in Logistics, Economics, or equivalent experience, with a strong interest in supply chain and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), along with knowledge of automotive industry standards.
- Strong English communication skills.

Expectations from you in this position:
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of customer orders, shipments, and related documentation.
- Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and provide updates on logistics activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to optimizing logistics workflows.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity in all systems and reports.
- Support MMS activities and actively participate in meetings and improvement projects.
