About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Purchasing Buyer to join the Purchasing team in Electronics Business, reporting directly to the ELS EMEA Purchasing Manager.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec.
As the Plant Purchasing Buyer at Marelli, you will drive effective purchasing strategies to support plant operations and business goals, ensuring compliance with company standards and continuous improvement in supplier performance.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Manage sourcing and procurement of materials and services for plant operations.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply issues and support production needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Marelli’s policies, procedures, and sustainability standards.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- University Degree in in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Practical experience in purchasing or procurement within a plant or manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal teams.

- Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
- Update and maintain accurate purchasing records in the system.
- Communicate daily with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, or invoice issues.
- Verify and reconcile incoming goods, resolving discrepancies with suppliers and warehouse.
- Support urgent production requirements by expediting orders when necessary.
