About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Purchasing Coordinator join the Purchasing dpt. in Propulsion team, reporting directly to the EMEA Purchasing Manager.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Plant Purchasing Coordinator, you will oversee all plant purchasing activities and ensure quality standards. You will act as the main contact for supplier-related issues and drive efficiency improvements.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Manage and control plant purchasing processes and activities.
- Lead and support the purchasing team.
- Represent the Purchasing department in audits and cross-functional meetings.
- Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and supplier performance.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and supplier management processes.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP or relevant ERP systems.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
