About the Position:
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the Maintenance + Ride Dynamics team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Brazil,Lavras/Minas Gerais.
As the Maintenance Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible manage preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities for electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems in production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation in the area. Manage maintenance performance indicators to ensure equipment availability and reliability. Manage the area's budget to ensure efficient use of resources. Manage contracts with specialized companies and/or outsourced employees, ensuring the quality and efficiency of services provided in fluent ETEs, maintenance warehouse and team of mechanics, electricians and lubricators.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Maintenance Management and Performance Indicators
- Manage procedures, instructions, and preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor electrical and electronic maintenance KPIs, correct deviations, and implement improvement actions.
- Coordinate maintenance planning, equipment downtime negotiations, and required resources for execution.
- Responsible for applying ISO 50001 and ensuring product compliance, with authority to stop production or shipment.
Team Leadership and Daily Operations
- Lead the maintenance team, ensuring alignment with cost, delivery, quality, and safety targets.
- Conduct daily briefing meetings, clarify doubts, and set priorities.
- Oversee the recovery of baseline conditions and equipment availability.
- Supervise internal and outsourced services, ensuring quality, agility, and cost effectiveness.
Technical Support, Safety, and Compliance
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing and Process Engineering.
- Develop improvements for electrical/electronic systems and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Create corrective actions for products or processes that fail to meet specifications.
- Comply with applicable legislation, environmental standards, and MMS methodology guidelines.
Cost, Budget, and Resource Management
- Develop cost-reduction alternatives and ensure execution of action plans.
- Prepare and monitor the annual maintenance budget.
- Manage inventory of indirect materials, preventing production shortages.
- Supervise the wastewater treatment station, maintenance warehouse, and specialized or outsourced teams.
