About the Position:
The Systems Engineer leads system-level engineering activities across the product lifecycle and supports the integration of safety requirements and compliance activities into the overall system-development process.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Define, manage, and trace system requirements.
- Develop system architecture and interfaces.
- Coordinate hardware, software, test, quality, and project teams
- Support system integration, verification, validation, and issue resolution.
- Additionally, support functional-safety activities including hazard analysis, safety requirements allocation, safety concepts, FMEA/FTA, safety documentation, reviews, and audit preparation.
- Contribute to documentation, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- 3+ years in systems engineering, preferably in a regulated or safety-relevant industry. Familiarity with functional-safety standards such as ISO 26262 is desirable, along with requirements-management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Jira, or equivalent.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles,
- Knowledge of hardware, and software design concepts
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and the functional safety lifecycle.
- Familiarity with HARA, FMEA, FTA, and safety requirements development.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Expectations from you in this position:
A Systems Engineer is expected to lead system-level engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, defining, managing, and maintaining traceability of system requirements. They should develop system architecture and interfaces while effectively coordinating hardware, software, testing, quality, and project-management teams.
They are also expected to support system integration, verification, validation, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. For functional-safety-related projects, they should contribute to HARA, FMEA/FTA, safety concepts and requirements, documentation, reviews, and audit preparation in accordance with ISO 26262. Strong communication, analytical thinking, continuous-improvement mindset, and technical decision-making skills are expected.
