About the Position:
We are looking for a Product Development Specialist to join the Green Technologies Product Development team, reporting directly to the team leader, Product Development of Green Technologies. This position is based at our office in Ora, Gunma in Japan.
As a Product Cost Engineering Specialist at Marelli, You will be responsible for calculating and validate product costs to ensure profitability.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- By projects profitability management at the each phare of new product planning & product development & investment.
1.Product cost collection from related all functions.
2.Validation for cost from marketability/past experience, Feedback and adjust with related function to appropriate costing.
3.Check profitability against product prices and calculate company-specific KPIs. - Monitoring the financial status for New Launch Projects with Project management team.
- Collect information on profitability analysis for each project, prepare document and report.
1.Provide deliverables for each Tollgate in accordance with the process.
2.Support Sales, Purchasing, Research and Development, Production engineering, Accounting and Project management, and provide cost management and information.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Educational background: Graduated from a technical college or university (any faculty)
- Language Skills:Proactive mindset towards improving English is essential.
- Working experience in manufacturing production. But no asking for years of experience for this job.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Office (Excel, Power point, Word) and PC basic operation
- High school level mathematics knowledge and No feel uncomfortable working with figures.
- Ability to communicate smoothly through conversation and email in Japanese and English.
- TOEIC score 500 above
