About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Green Technologies Project Development Quality (PDQ) team, reporting directly to the PDQ Manager.

This position is based at our office in Ora, Gunma in Japan.

As a Quality Engineer at Marelli, you will be involved in one of our most strategic process, which is New Project Development.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • To join the development teams and to support them in the application of all the procedures and standards related to new development, including Customer requirements
  • To confirm that the execution of all the activities is effectively happening during the development, with strong focus on prevention  through the available tools (Product and Process Design Review, Product and Process FMEA, Product and Process validations etc)
  • To confirm that the preparation of Project Milestones is consistently executed
  • To contribute to the evolution of standards and procedures based on internal benchmarking activities and new Customer requirements
  • To ensure the product and process readiness at SOP
  • To escalate critical issues related to new projects within GT Quality
  • To support the monitoring of KPIs related to new projects
  • To ensure that Lessons Learned are released any time that issues are solved during the development

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Master degree in Engineering * Preferred, but not required.
  • Fluent English
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Industrial sector in technical roles

  • Second language (French or German) * Preferred, but not required.
