About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Sales Specialist for OEM Accounts  to join the Green Technologies Sales team, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Gunma, Japan.
 

As the Sales Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for account management of the OEM.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Order Intake: actively support achievement of Order Intake assigned targets being accountable for data collection to prepare actual and end of year forecast.
  • Handle all claims processing activities for assigned customer portfolio, supporting prompt and accurate resolution in alignment with company policies and targets.
  • Account Growth: Develop trusted advisor relationships with accounts, customer stakeholders. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Collaboration and Mentoring: Work closely with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior account management staff.
  • Analytical Reporting: Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product/services. Prepare reports on account status and communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Credit Collection Supports: monitor Customer's payment status being accountable to esure on-time payments interfacing with Customer and internal departments and supporting Customer Support in the credit collection task.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage current and new customers
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to use initiative seeking new customer opportunities
  • Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or in a field related to the specialty area
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in account management, with a proven track record in a role that requires deep industry or product specialization
