About the Position:
We are looking for a Green Technologies Themal Manufacturing Engineer Specialist to join the Green Technologies Thermal Manufacturing Engineering team , reporting directly to the team leader.
This position is based at our office in Ora, Gunma in Japan.
As the Themal Manufacturing Engineer Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for creating process designs, preparing for the cpmpetitive production of thermal products, and ensuring process designs that maintain stable quality, efficient oprations, minimum lead times, and environmental friendliness.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Designing thermal production processes for new products, including assembly, brazing, clinching, leak testing, final inspection, stamping press, and plastic injection.
- Leading cross-functional teams as a project leader for Japan-based projects, coordinating with staff from other departments.
- Preparing and supporting the manufacturing processes for new products—including machines, tooling, and dies—in alignment with our standards for global plants.
- Installing and supporting new machines, tooling, and dies for new products at global plants, in collaboration with Regional Manufacturing Engineering Specialists.
- Handing over installed machines, tooling, and dies to Regional Manufacturing Engineering Specialists and manufacturing teams.
- Providing support for new products up to the start of production to ensure safe and stable mass production.
- Special activities for developing future technologies and solving current technology.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Educational Background: Graduated from a technical college or university with a degree in engineering.
- Language Skills: A proactive mindset towards improving English is essential.
- Technical experience: Thermal product or New product development.
