About the Position:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (Product Inspection) specialist to join the Quality Assurance team at the Green Technologies Gunma Plant. The position will be based at the Gunma Plant.
As a Quality Assurance specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for inspection operations related to product quality assurance, including timely and accurate inspection of product characteristics, incoming inspection of purchased parts, and calibration management of measurement equipment, with the aim of meeting customer quality evaluations and improve in-process quality.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Quality inspection of produced products (routine, periodic, and ad hoc)
- Promotion of product audits (regular audits of assigned products)
- Participation in and promotion of improvement activities for in-process defects
- Preparation, execution, and recording of incoming and outgoing inspections
- Receiving inspection of suppliers’ products and management of related documentation
- Calibration and record management of measuring equipment
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Education: High school or technical college graduate.
- Language skills: Ability to communicate clearly using digital tools such as email.
- No specific years of experience required for this role.
- Communication skills for coordinating with other departments.
- Knowledge of quality assurance.
Other skills that we would welcome:
Expectations from you in this position:
- Understanding of quality assurance and experience in product inspection (measurement).
- Experience with IATF16949 certification and maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of product and process quality for automotive heat exchangers.
- Communication (and leadership) skills for interacting with relevant departments.
