About the Position:
We are looking for a Enviroment Health & Safety Coordinator to join the Propulsion Solutions team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Ramos Arizpe.
As the Enviroment Health & Safety Coordinator at Marelli, you will be responsible:
- Administrate the environmental, occupational health and safety management system
- To follow up and application to procedures in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 regulations.
- Identify legal requirements and other requirements applicable for Ramos Arizpe plant.
- Responsible of assuring EHS Marelli global standards respect ethics and norms in front of request coming from internal and external stake holders
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Identify legal requirements and other requirements applicable for Ramos Arizpe plant.
- Responsible of assuring EHS Marelli global standards respect ethics and norms in front of request coming from internal and external stake holders
- Responsible of the implementation of a system of rules and methods to manage the relevant aspects, unified and standardized within the plant in compliance with the laws and plant guidelines, checking the correct implementation and assuring reports of the main KPI concerned.
- Guarantee the role of MMS System for health, Safety and Environment either directly or through collaborators.
- Administrate the environmental, occupational health and safety management system
- To follow up and application to procedures in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 regulations.
- To know the goals, indicators, strategies and projects derived from the safety, health and environment management systems.
- To encourage the active participation of the personnel in charge of the environment, health & safety systems.
- Compliance with EHS policy, legal requirements, operational controls, GEMBA WALK audits and chemical management.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Academic degree (preferably OHS / EHS / Enviornmental Engineering/ Industrial engineer)
- English - fluent (mandatory)
- At least 3 years experience in EHS managerial position
