About the Position:
We are looking for a Senior Manager Key Account Management. This position is based at our Saitama Miyahara office.
This role reports to the Key Account Executive, who is responsible for the assigned account for whole Marelli.
The Senior Manager Key Account Management plays a critical role in the execution of the key account strategy by the Business leaders, providing structure operational, analytical, and cross-functional support to ensure account objectives are met. The role acts as a central coordination point across Commercial and Marketing teams, enabling data-driven decision-making, problem resolution, consistency through Businesses, continous performance improvement and revenue growth.
Your Responsibilities will be:
• Account strategy formalization: Pro-actively contribute in the formalization and the regular update of the key account strategy based on inputs from the Key Account Executive
• Order Intake: mentor the team to achieve Order Intake assigned targets periodically monitoring the actual and end of year forecast and leading corrective actions
• Client Relationship Management: Coordinate business teams and members to serve as point of contact and reference for relationship management
• Business Development: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand services or product offerings within key accounts, working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth.
• Performance Management: Lead the analysis and reporting of key account metrics, using data to inform strategic decisions and to report progress to Key Account Executive and other senior leadership.
• Claim Management: Lead the Claim Management activity with Key customers, defining standard for data collection and interfacing with key accounts high level management and escalating when needed, coordinate with business leaders to ensure targets are met.
• Account data management; Lead the management and the housekeeping of data related to the customer, including contracts, volumes and other information specific to the account.
• Pro-actively identify account related information that need to be cascaded across businesses and other functions.
• Pro-actively work with Commercial Excellence team and contribute to the development and the implementation of new tools and processes to enable a lean and efficient management of sales processes.
What Qualifications you will bring:
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum Experience: 10 years of relevant experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the automotive or manufacturing industry, including significant experience in leadership roles.
• Certifications: Professional certifications related to sales, marketing, or project management are advantageous.
• Skills: Negotiation and relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adeptness in managing cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English

• Interest in developing and improving tools and processes

- Drive the generation of new RFI and related RFQ getting the defined target year over year
- Ensure customer's engagement and awareness about new products and new business opportunities cross Regions and cross Divisions
