About the Position:
We are looking for a Quality Manager to join the Quality GT team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in San Francisco plant, Aguascalientes city.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Ensure compliance with the quality management system.

Responsible for participating in regional, global, and business unit quality meetings.

Confirmation and follow-up of quality for the product delivered to the customer.

Ensure proper execution of scheduled tests on finished products in mass production and new projects.

Confirmation and follow-up of quality prior to production start-up, including development stages in new projects.
-
Confirmation and follow-up of the quality work for products during engineering changes.
-
Follow-up on process and product audits carried out according to the plan.

Monitoring and compliance with activities described in the corrective actions and non-conforming product control procedure.

Establish and control quality programs for the production process (work-in-process and finished product).

Ensure compliance with quality control standards and requirements to meet customer demands and internal key performance indicators for each business unit.

QUALITY STANDARD RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility and authority to stop production and product shipments, if necessary, to correct quality issues.

General understanding of IATF 16949 Standard and customer-specific requirements to apply them in their process.

Attention to and follow-up of audits within their process.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND SAFETY STANDARD RESPONSIBILITIES

Know and promote environmental objectives, environmental policy, scope, and environmental aspects (applicable to their process), established in the Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety System.

Contribute and support their staff in the compliance, implementation, and maintenance of the Environmental Management System and Occupational Health and Safety System.

Know and address specific customer requirements, global requirements, applicable legal requirements, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.

Identify, evaluate, and address environmental aspects, as well as update matrices for environmental aspects, risks, and opportunities.

Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and/or any impact on the environment.

Stop any equipment and/or process that presents an unsafe condition and/or a negative environmental impact.
What Qualifications you will bring:

Lead work teams.

Experience in the automotive or metal-mechanical industry.

Preferably experience in quality within productive processes, and general knowledge of Core Tools and IATF.
