About the Position:
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join the Green Technologies Exhaust Product Test team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Exhaust Product Test of Green Technologies.
This position is based at our office in Sano city, Tochigi pref. in Japan.
As a Test engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible of the exhaust product development tests for primarily diesel and multi-fuel engines for LCVs (Light Commercial Vehicles) and CVs (Commercial Vehicles). Representative products include catalytic converters such as DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), G/DPF (Gasoline/Diesel Particulate Filter), SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), and mixers.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Design verification tests and Product validation tests for exhaust products
- Advanced engineering development tests for exhaust products
- Fundamental engineering development tests for exhaust products
- Benchmark tests for exhaust products
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Basic knowledge of engineeering
- Experience of test facility/equipment operation
- Experience of measuring Instruments operation
- Experience of various hand tool and power tool use
- Experience of negotiation, adjustment, reporting for OEM
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Education: Graduated from a technical college or university with a degree in engineering
- TOIEC score of 500 more above
- Experience of advanced/fundamental engineering development
Expectations from you in this position:
- Make and conduct the effective test plan in line with the customer’s demand.
- Report the accurate test result timely to the OEM and relative member in MARELLI.
- Develop the test method in case that there is no previous example.
- Improve the test method and process constantly to enhance the testing capability.
- It’s preferable if you can join in the night shift.
