About the Position:
We are looking for a HR Generalist to join the Human Resources team, reporting directly to the HR Manager.
This position is based at our office in Shelbyville, TN.
As the HR Generalist at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Recruit and select candidates for Hourly and Hourly Indirect positions at production, conducting interviews and administering tests to identify best skills.
- Develop and conduct internal training and new employee integration programs.
- Represent Marelli at meetings with Educational, Cultural and Social Centers, HR groups, and others to learn new HR methodologies and tools.
- Develop and implement an annual training program, assessing needs to improve technical training, customer requirements, and performance.
- Execute workforce plan in line with budget and volume variations; ensure timely delivery of staffing requirements according to site needs.
- Manage HRIS systems at local level to upload timely and accurate data.
- Track KPIs such as Turnover, Absenteeism, Overtime, and Labor Cost, as well as Forecast and Budget for HC needs, HR expenses; upload accurate and timely data on HRIS systems.
- Prepare compensation proposals for new hires, promotions, merit, and other processes, implementing compensation policies at the plant.
- Ensure Performance Management process is applied according to Company guidelines.
- Support HR Plant Manager in all people-related activities on site in line with Company policies and procedures.
- Support execution of all programs and policies locally in all areas; execute local actions to support employees’ morale and motivation.
- Communicate organizational culture, policies, and procedures to employees.
- Support implementation standard organization at Site level according to Marelli’s organizational principles in terms of structures, processes, responsibilities, and skills.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in Manufacturing Human Resources, with a significant portion of that time spent in a generalist capacity.
- Skills: Exceptional knowledge of HR practices and employment law; strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to lead and implement HR initiatives; high level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly; proficiency in HRIS systems; adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- HRIS Systems UKG, SuccessFactors, ADP
- Strong and practical experience with FMLA or other leave management
- Certifications: Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) strongly preferred.
- Multitasking and change Management skills
- Knowledge of Local Law and regulations
