About the Position:

We are looking for an Corporate Energy Specialist to join the Corporate Energy team, reporting directly to the Corporate Energy manager.

This position is based on a hybrid work model.

As the Corporate Energy Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for analyzing Marelli's energy use to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Corporate Energy Manager in shaping Marelli’s strategy to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon fuel consumption, including promoting renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
  • Assist in preparing information and materials for external disclosure initiatives (such as Sustainability Reports, CDP, Ecovadis) on energy-related topics.
  • Collect, organize, and validate energy and sustainability data for internal and external reporting needs, including supporting carbon accounting and responding to customer information requests.
  • Collaborate with various business units to facilitate energy and sustainability initiatives.
  • Track and report on company energy KPIs, ensuring accurate data for analysis and disclosure.
  • Support the implementation of Energy MMS Diagnosis and Tools, coordinating with site teams and the Business Head of Energy to validate yearly plant-level scores.
  • Analyze energy KPI deviations and gaps at the business level, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Assist in the development and execution of energy efficiency projects under the direction of the Corporate Energy Manager.
  • Contribute to corporate decarbonization initiatives by coordinating activities and monitoring progress against established goals.
  • Gather and disseminate best practices across Marelli’s businesses to promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in energy management.
  • Actively contribute information, facilitate training, conduct research, and support the development of new tools and processes for effective energy management at Marelli.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION):
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering specializing in energy or environment.
  • LANGUAGES:
    • English: fluent in both written and spoken
    • additional language: preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Energy efficiency and Sustainable Solutions
  • Proficiency in Energy management systems and software
  • Knowledge of Energy GRI Standards
  • Knowledge and experience on SBT
  • Knowledge and Experience on CDP
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as Energy Manager Certified or ISO 50001 auditor

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in energy management sector, as a consultant or in manufacturing/production context.
  • Experience with a consulting company specializing in GRI reporting
  • Strong analytical capacity and problem-solving attitude
  • effective communication and training skills
  • Motivated and goal-focused, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Dynamic and continuously looking for improvements
  • Availability for business trips
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments
  • Willingness to occasionally work odd hours or weekends for emergency response
