About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Automotive Lighting team, reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec.
 

As the Quality Engineer at Marelli, you will suppert quality processes.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• you will conduct complaint analyses, coordinate improvement plans, create 8D reports and deliver them to the customer on time

• you will prepare data (samples, measurements, tests, analyses) for customers

• you will participate in customer visits/audits and complaint meetings at the customer's premises

• you will provide the required quality documentation regarding products and processes

• you will take an active part in projects and meetings related to quality, including: DIM, QRQC, Kaizen

• you will participate in the product/process approval process, create PPAP documentation

• you will initiate corrective and preventive actions in the event of defects

• you will create and update documentation related to quality assurance, you will create samples and patterns, you will conduct training for employees in the field of quality standards

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • master degree in engineering
  • min. 2 years of experience in a similar position in the quality department
  • knowledge of English or German at a minimum level of B2
  • knowledge of PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, IMDS
  • experience in problem-solving techniques (Fishbone, 5 Why, 8D, PDCA)
  • knowledge of measurement and testing methods and techniques
  • ability to read and good knowledge of technical drawings
  • willingness to travel on business
  • driving license KTG. B

Other skills that we would welcome:

• knowledge of VDA requirements – VDA 6.3 auditor qualifications are welcome, knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and practical application
