About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Project engineer  to join the Product Development in Lighting team, reporting directly to the ELD Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec.
 

As the Project engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible of technical development of the product from the offer phase to the start of mass production in the area of mechanical design.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  •  Coordinating the design team in the mechanical department and controlling the schedule for product development
  •  Preparation and updating of BOM/WPK
  •  Verification of the correctness of 3D/2D data and technical documentation
  •  Proposing design solutions
  • Technical support for CPE during meetings with the customer and supplier
  • Responsibility for preparing input data for the next development phase
  • Verification and approval of completed tasks using checklists
  • Preparation of status 1/2 documentation
  • Issuing engineering changes (including DFMEA review)
  • Compliance with the Quality Management System and Integrated Management System procedures
  • Active and effective implementation of MMS principles to ensure continuous improvement
  • Performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Tecnical education
  • Two years of experience at designer position, experience in project management area
  • Knowledge of Catia 5 , MS Office, IQ-RM
  • Knowledge of technical drawing (GD&T)
  • Knowledge of solid and surface modeling principles
