About the Position:
We are looking for a Vehicle Validation Engineer to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the System Manager.
This position is based at our office in Southfield.
As the On site Vehicle validation engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Plan and execute validation tests on vehicle electronic systems (e.g., infotainment, ADAS, controllers)
- Diagnose system issues, document findings, and collaborate with design and development teams to resolve problems
- Ensure electronic systems meet regulatory and customer requirements
- Set up and use specialized test equipment for data acquisition and analysis
- Prepare detailed test reports and communicate results to stakeholders
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar
- Experience in automotive electronic systems testing and validation
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, FlexRay protocols, and diagnostic tools
- Hands-on experience with vehicle test instrumentation and hardware
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Strong understanding of vehicle electronic systems and architecture.
- Experience with bench testing and validation processes.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage technical discussions.
- Familiarity with BOM management and technical documentation.
