About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Technical Project manager to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the Head of Product Development.
 

This position is based at our office in Southfield.
 

As the Technical Project Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Manage end-to-end product development projects, from requirements gathering to launch.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate activities between design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks; escalate issues as needed.
  • Interface with OEM customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress and report status to leadership and customers.
  • Drive design reviews, milestone gates, and technical problem resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO).
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related), or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in automotive product development.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and development lifecycle.
  • Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
