About the Position:
We are looking for a Customer service & Production planning Coordinator to join theLogistics-Lighting team, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager.
This position is based at our office in Toluca,Mexico.
As the Material Planner at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Act as the main contact for customers regarding orders, delivery schedules, and product inquiries.
- Monitor customer demand and communicate requirements to the production and logistics teams.
- Develop, update, and maintain production schedules in line with customer forecasts and requirements.
- Coordinate production planning activities to meet delivery commitments and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure accurate and timely order processing, order confirmations, and shipment tracking.
- Manage customer complaints, resolve issues promptly, and ensure feedback is provided.
- Interface with procurement, logistics, quality, and production departments to resolve constraints and improve performance.
- Analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer service and production planning.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in customer service and production planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation and input data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, production planning, or supply chain roles within manufacturing; automotive sector experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling tools is highly desirable.
