About the Position:
We are looking for a EHS Manager to join the EHS team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Toluca.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Lead and implement Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate standards, and customer requirements.

Drive a proactive safety culture through risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and employee awareness initiatives.

Manage environmental compliance, waste management, emergency preparedness, and ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 management systems to support operational excellence.
What Qualifications you will bring:
-
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.

5+ years of experience leading EHS functions within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.

Strong knowledge of Mexican EHS regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Other skills that we would welcome:

Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).

Experience managing EHS audits, certifications, and continuous improvement projects.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities.

Knowledge of ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and sustainability programs.

Experience with reporting KPIs, environmental permits, and government inspections.

Partner with plant leadership to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and drive EHS performance through data-driven decision making

Ensure successful maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and readiness for internal and external audits.

Develop, coach, and mentor site teams to strengthen EHS awareness, accountability, and engagement across the organization
