About the Position:

To be the voice of the customer, ensuring that through the optimal use of all resources, 100% of customer requirements are fulfilled in terms of both timing and quantity. Manage all finished goods warehouse activities and functions to ensure inventory accuracy and reliability, enabling the complete fulfillment of all customer shipments.

Your Responsibilities will be:

Ensure the accurate receipt of customer requirements through EDI 830 (forecast), EDI 862 (firm daily requirements), and EDI 846 (material sequencing).

Conduct a weekly review of the customer's updated forecast and communicate customer requirements for the next 12 weeks, highlighting any significant changes to accurately determine the resources required for each week.

Perform weekly balancing of all resources to prevent peaks and valleys in resource utilization.

Review tickets and float alerts daily to address special customer requirements and avoid penalties on the customer scorecard.

Communicate to the customer any committed delivery dates that fall outside the lead time and/or are based on increased demand.

Manage all customer shipments to ensure deliveries are completed with all required documentation, validating the correct transmission of the ASN for each shipment.

Reject any customer requirements that exceed the agreed flexibility percentage and/or fall within the lead time while the feasibility of the increase is being evaluated.

Maintain knowledge of and compliance with MMOG requirements and customer audits, serving as the lead for all customer audits.

Ensure 100% finished goods inventory accuracy through the daily execution of physical inventory counts.

Ensure the proper handling of finished goods within the plant and at external warehouses.

Ensure the transmission of 100% of ASNs.

Guarantee the proper management of customer-owned packaging in the customer portal.

Monitor the correct allocation of storage space for all materials. Establish and maintain the finished goods warehouse layout.

Maintain control procedures with external warehouses regarding finished goods inventory.

Prevent extraordinary freight costs caused by material shortages.

Ensure the proper use and consultation of documents and records related to the QMS, EMS, and OH&S Management System

What Qualifications you will bring:

Education Level:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Language:
Advanced English proficiency.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry (preferably in a Customer Service or warehouse leadership position).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

Other skills that we would welcome:

Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Knowledge of inventory and warehouse management methods, logistics processes, PC operation, personnel management, system management (EDI and Internet), labeling software, and customer portals within the automotive industry.
