About the Position:
We are looking for a GT Toluca MFE Bending to join the Manufacturing, GT team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Toluca.
As the GT Toluca MFE Bending at Marelli, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and supervising the bending processes in manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality standards, and continuous improvement. This role requires expertise in metal forming, production machinery, and process engineering.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Design and improvement of bending processes:
Develop, optimize, and document procedures for material bending, ensuring quality and efficiency. - Selection and adjustment of machinery:
Oversee the selection, configuration, and maintenance of bending equipment (presses, rollers, CNC, etc.). - Technical problem solving:
Analyze and resolve quality deviations, bending defects, and production line issues. - Interdepartmental collaboration:
Work with design, quality, and production teams to implement improvements and new technologies. - Compliance with safety and quality standards:
Ensure that processes comply with industrial safety standards and quality requirements. - Personnel training:
Train and supervise operators and technicians to ensure correct execution of bending processes. - Documentation and reporting management:
Maintain accurate records of processes, materials, parameters, and results. - Implementation of continuous improvements:
Seek opportunities for optimization, waste reduction, and increased productivity.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably with metal forming or bending operations.
- Familiarity with CNC bending machines, presses, and related equipment.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending techniques, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing ERP systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting production processes and resolving technical issues. - Quality & Safety Knowledge:
Understanding of relevant quality standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) and industrial safety regulations. - Communication & Teamwork Skills:
Effective communication, ability to work collaboratively across departments, and train personnel. - Attention to Detail:
Meticulous approach to process documentation and parameter management. - Continuous Improvement Mindset:
Experience with lean manufacturing, process improvement, and productivity enhancement.
