About the Position:

Develop the activities related to corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of all robots and welding tools, applying your knowledge to improve the process and, therefore, the product.

Your Responsibilities will be:

Maintain accurate and timely records of parameters for all welding equipment.
Perform equipment adjustments to ensure the product meets customer welding and dimensional specifications.
Update process parameters.
Repair and maintain robots and teach pendants.
Follow the manufacturer's procedures to ensure the proper operation of the equipment.
Participate in the update of procedures (SMP).
Update documentation related to machine spare parts (Machine Ledger).
Document and back up any updates made to software or hydraulic/electrical diagrams; save previous versions using a sequential revision control system.
Participate in the development and implementation of area projects and objectives.
Perform monthly backups of robot programs.
Execute predictive and preventive maintenance programs established in MP9 for all equipment, maintaining 100% completion records.Receive and respond to Service Orders and Tags.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance planning for equipment to reduce unplanned downtime.
Conduct EWO analysis.
Identify potential equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects to ensure proper machinery performance.
Provide technical support for equipment adjustments and/or part number changes.
Train operational personnel in PM-AM transfer activities.
Report issues that directly impact product quality.
Properly implement tools and practices intended to improve and maintain workplace organization and cleanliness.
The use of equipment and machinery for which the employee has not received specific training is strictly prohibited
Comply with the proper use and handling of chemicals in work areas, understanding all chemical specifications and identifications relevant to the position.
Ensure the proper use and consultation of QMS, EMS, and OH&S management system documents and records.
Identify and address internal nonconformities within the area.

What Qualifications you will bring:

EDUCATION LEVEL:
Mechatronics Technician or related field.

LANGUAGE:
Technical English.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position.

 

 

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Knowledge of drive systems and control logic.
  • Knowledge of electronics, electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of robot and positioner/table programming (10 axes).
  • Experience in robot and positioning table maintenance.
  • PLC programming knowledge.
  • Knowledge of welding processes (MIG and CMT).
  • Knowledge and application of industry standards (ISO, DIN, ANSI, AWS, and GD&T).
  • Knowledge of working at heights, lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazard identification, and accident prevention
