About the Position:
We are looking for a Material Planner to join the Logistics-Lighting
team, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager
.
This position is based at our office in Toluca, Mexico.
As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Analyze production schedules and customer orders to determine material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to replenish stock, avoiding shortages or excesses.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply issues.
- Track, review, and update material forecasts based on changes in demand, production, or market trends.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to align planning operations and address constraints.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in ERP systems and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement in supply chain and material planning.
- Report material availability, inventory status, and potential risks to management.
- Support compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
