About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Logistics Manager to join the SCM, Toluca team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Toluca Plant.
As the Plant Logistics Manager at Marelli, you will be Responsible for planning and executing production schedules in accordance with customer requirements, managing inventory, issuing purchase orders to suppliers based on MRP, and ensuring the efficient use of human resources, materials, and equipment. Responsible for coordinating production schedules.
Your Responsibilities will be:
1 Responsible for validating the integration and analyzing the volumes of customer requirements in the MPS and MRP systems.
2 Responsible for validating the integration and analyzing the volumes of customer requirements in the MPS and MRP systems.
3 Responsible for planning inventory in accordance with customer requirements and ensuring compliance with the Production Plan in accordance with quality standards, on time, and meeting customer expectations.
4 Responsible for ensuring the availability of logistics resources.
5 Responsible for requesting special transportation arrangements for mass production.
6 Responsible for requesting special transportation arrangements for mass production.
7 Responsible for the processes of generating and issuing purchase orders to suppliers and tracking the arrival of materials.
8 Responsabilities regarding Quality Standards
9 Responsibility and authority to halt production and product shipments if necessary to correct quality issues.
10 General knowledge of the IATF/16949 standard and specific customer requirements to apply them to their process.
11 Handling and follow-up of audits related to their process
What Qualifications you will bring:
Education: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management.
Experience in production control, tracking parts with suppliers, and ensuring on-time deliveries to customers.
