About the Position:

We are looking for a Process Tool Coordinator (PTC) to join the PTC + Automotive Lighting team, reporting directly to the PTC Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Toluca, México.
 

As the Process Tool Coordinator (PTC) at Marelli, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the tools and equipment essential for efficient production processes. This role ensures the availability, functionality, and optimization of tools to maintain the flow and quality of manufacturing operations.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  1. Tool Management:

    • Oversee the availability, maintenance, and inventory of production tools and equipment.
  2. Process Optimization:

    • Work with engineers and technicians to identify and implement process improvements.
  3. Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, maintenance schedules, and operations.
  4. Procurement and Evaluation:

    • Assess and procure new tools and equipment based on production needs.
  5. Training:

    • Provide training and technical support to production staff on the proper use of tools.
  6. Troubleshooting:

    • Identify and resolve tool-related issues to minimize downtime.
  7. Cross-Department Collaboration:

    • Liaise with various departments to ensure alignment and efficiency in processes.
  8. Compliance:

    • Ensure all tools and equipment comply with safety and quality standards.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Knowledge of production processes and industrial tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams.

    • Quickly identify and resolve any tool-related issues to minimize downtime.
  7. Compliance Assurance:

    • Ensure all tools and practices adhere to industry safety and quality standards.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work effectively with other departments to ensure process alignment and efficiency.
  9. Adaptability:

    • Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies or methods when appropriate.
  10. Proactive Initiative:

    • Anticipate potential challenges and take preemptive actions to address them.
