About the Position:
We are looking for a DigITal EMEA Information Security Leader to join the DigiTal team, reporting directly to the Demand and Portfolio Management/ EMEA/ AL&S DigITal Lead.
This position is based at our office in Trnava.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Deploy security-related policies, procedures, and processes that effectively reduce operational risks within the organization in alignment with central security poligies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies to protect critical assets across the region.
- Support regional vulnerability management processes to mitigate risk and enhance security posture.
- Support managent of security incident response at the regional level to ensure timely and effective solutions, working closely with the central security team.
- Collaborate with the governance function to delineate disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans.
- Ensure local implementation of security mechanisms defined by the central governance team to protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Oversee and maintain the local security architecture in accordance with global guideline, policies and procedures.
- Assist the local legal department with ICT-related activities, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity policies and legislation, and review contracts involving ICT/information security aspects.
- Promote the role of information security and cybersecurity within the regional organization, highlighting the importance of security and risk management as shared organizational goals.
- Monitor and assess security controls and KPIs at the regional level, providing regular reports to the global CISO.
- Collect security demands at the region, country, and site levels, and share management strategies with the global CISO.
- Support internal or external information security audits at local sites, ensuring compliance and readiness.
- Ensure that regional security practices are aligned with global standards and initiatives.
- Proactively manage and reduce security risks while enhancing the organization’s incident response capabilities.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
- Drive cybersecurity improvements by managing KPIs, conducting assessments, and overseeing internal audits to minimize risks.
What Qualifications you will bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial processes, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in information security management, with a proven track record of implementing security policies across diverse organizational levels.
• Deep understanding of security architecture, regional IT legislation, and best practices in cybersecurity.
• Strong ability to communicate security goals effectively across various levels of the organization.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems and protocols (e.g., SCADA, PLCs).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
