About the Position:
We are looking for a DigITal SAP CO-PS (Controlling & Project System) Expert to join the DigiTal team, reporting directly to the Finance Core Model & Integrations Manager.
This position is based at our office in Trnava.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP CO-PS (Controlling & Project System) modules within Marelli’s SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications to enhance SAP CO-PS functionalities, ensuring alignment with plant operation and monthly end closure processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, Plant Management, and IT, to integrate SAP CO-PS with other modules and systems in the S/4HANA environment.
- Customize and optimize SAP CO-PS configurations to support cost center accounting, internal orders, product costing, profitability analysis, and other sub-modules within the context of S/4HANA.
- Support the implementation and integration of SAP CO-PS with related S/4HANA modules such as SAP FI, MM, SD, PP, ensuring seamless data flow between production, controlling, and financial processes.
- Conduct and support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of CO-PS solutions, particularly in relation to plant monthly end closures.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders in plant environments to maximize the utilization of SAP CO-PS functionalities within S/4HANA.
- Monitor and ensure data integrity and consistency across the S/4HANA environment, emphasizing accuracy in plant and monthly closure-related data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to SAP CO-PS in S/4HANA, ensuring timely support and minimal system downtime, especially during end-of-month closure activities.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA and CO-PS trends, updates, and best practices, offering recommendations for continuous improvement in alignment with plant operational needs and month-end processes.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience with SAP CO-PS module implementation and management in S/4HANA, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of controlling processes, particularly integration with plant operation processes and monthly end closures, and other SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, MM, SD, PP).
- Proven experience working in complex SAP environments, ideally with exposure to Marelli or similar automotive systems and S/4HANA.
- In-depth understanding of plant operation and monthly end closure processes and their impact on cost management and controlling in S/4HANA.

- Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and provide clear guidance to non-technical audiences.
- SAP certification in CO-PS and/or S/4HANA is preferred.
